The event provided valuable insight into the company’s comprehensive mould making and rapid prototyping services, showcasing the entire process—from CAD-based tooling design through to pre-production and small-series manufacturing.
As a long-standing technology partner, SCHOTT SYSTEME GmbH was pleased to be part of this event and offer visitors with live CAD/CAM software presentations. For more than 15 years, 1st Mould GmbH has relied on Schott Systeme’s ‘Pictures by PC’ CAD/CAM software to program its 16 CNC milling machines. By leveraging the software’s open programming architecture, the company has successfully developed its own in-house automation solutions, enabling an almost fully automated machining process for prototyping mould tools.
Since its founding in 2005, 1st Mould GmbH has grown into a comprehensive team of design engineers, CNC machinists, and toolmakers who work closely with their injection moulding department to deliver high-quality rapid prototyping and small-series production—all under one roof.
