Student Internship at Schott Systeme
This year, 15-year-old Carla, a 9th-grade student at a Munich high school, completed a one-week student internship at Schott Systeme GmbH. The goal of the internship was to give Carla initial insights into everyday working life and to serve as a guide for her future career choice.
Since Schott Systeme has supported the children's coloring book of the criminal police through advertisements for many years, it quickly became clear that this presented the ideal task for Carla: the design and implementation of a new advertisement for Schott Systeme GmbH.
In addition to the CAD design work, Carla also gained insights into our complete CAD/CAM software. It was particularly interesting to observe the software developers at work and try out individual program snippets.
Since the week flew by, the advertisement was already finished by Friday morning. This gave Carla the opportunity to conclude her internship with coffee and cake together with her supervisor.
We thank Carla for her support and would be delighted to see her again in a few years as an apprentice or dual-study student. We wish her every success in her future training and career.
