Pictures by PC CAD/CAM offers powerful capabilities for 3D machining, enabling the efficient production of moulds, tools, and packaging. It also supports the manufacture of orthopedic insoles, prostheses, and implants. Furthermore, decorative wood elements and other workpieces featuring complex freeform geometries can be produced with high precision.

The integrated hybrid modeler combines solid, surface, and mesh geometries. Coupled with advanced feature recognition, the software automatically identifies suitable milling areas and assigns appropriate CAM strategies to them.

The range of 3D roughing and finishing operations includes HPC roughing for efficient material removal, as well as HSC finishing strategies—such as spiral, contour, and hybrid machining—to ensure superior surface quality and reduced machining times. All machining strategies are developed in-house by SCHOTT SYSTEME GmbH, ensuring continuous innovation and seamless integration into the Pictures by PC CAD/CAM environment.
